Appliance Repair

I don’t just do internet stuff… After I left the Air Force and before I finished college, I repaired appliances for about 5 years. If you need something fixed, just ask. I’ll answer questions online, or if you’re local, you can pay me to look at your problem. I typically charge only about HALF what a major company like Sears would charge, and I do guarantee my work.

I can repair:
Sink Disposal
Gas Grill

I have experience with:
Whirlpool / Kitchenaid / Kenmore
Maytag / Magic Chef / Jenn-Air / Amana
Admiral / Montgomery Ward
Frigidaire / White-Westinghouse
GE / Hotpoint

I can also do light electrical work, like replacing switches or outlets, installing or replacing ceiling fans onto existing fixture boxes, and replacing dishwashers or sink disposals.

For DIY’ers, I have a new post with steps to solve common appliance problems. ┬áContact me at with your diy questions, or to request home service.

I ask $50 for travel and diagnosis in Allegheny County, including simple no-parts repairs, $20/half-hour for any additional labor, and of course parts, if necessary. Advice is free and service is cheap! Same-day or next-day service is typical, but not guaranteed.
